1Preheat the oven to 425 F. Soak the wooden skewers in water. Thinly slice the scallions , keeping the white and green parts separate. Trim and halve the green beans . Halve, peel, and thinly slice the red onion . Mince the garlic . 2In a medium bowl , toss chicken with garlic, hoisin sauce , and half the soy sauce . Set aside to marinate.hoisin sauce: 2 tbsp, soy sauce: 3 tbsp -
3Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook, tossing occasionally, for ⏱️ 7 minutes , until golden brown. Remove from pan.olive oil: 2 tbsp -
4Meanwhile, remove chicken from marinade and thread onto skewers. Place onto a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake in the oven for ⏱️ 10 minutes , until slightly caramelized and cooked through. -
5While the chicken bakes, add a large drizzle of olive oil to the pan. Add chuka soba noodles , green beans, scallion whites, and ⏱️ ¼ cup water to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the water evaporates and the green beans become crisp-tender.
